Bredon Junior/Mini Registrations Info
Following last night’s meeting please find attached the finalised junior membership form for 2018-19. The form is also available to download from the website under More/Downloads/Membership and is called ‘Membership form for junior players 2018-19’.
Here are the details about the Bredon junior and mini rugby club 2018-19 registrations.
We’re keeping the registration process the same as last year, so will use paper registration forms and electronic payments directly to the club’s bank account. The details provided on the forms will be used to update each child’s details on the RFU’s game management system (GMS) so it vital it is correct and it will make it easier when we do start using GMS for registrations in the next year or two.
To register your child, please:
We do our best to keep the subscription rates as low as we can but as you may have noticed we have decided to increase them this year by £10 per child for u7s and above. The increase has been made after much thought and discussion by the club’s executive and junior committees and after a full review of the junior club’s finances. The increase will enable us to continue to provide good quality rugby in a safe environment, by ensuring, for example, that all junior teams have the necessary equipment, coaches attend appropriate courses, food is provided at the end of matches etc.
We do not want any child/family put off rugby because of cost, therefore if any family will struggle to pay the annual subscription or to buy essential kit please talk in confidence to your coach or Scott Jameson (Chair of Junior Section) at firstname.lastname@example.org or on 01242 609092 or 07714 202533.
Junior and mini registration Day - Sunday 16th September
The club is holding its AGM on Friday 14 September at 7pm in the clubhouse. It would be great to see some parents there if you can make it.
Food at Westmancote
We are looking for someone to help with the catering at Westmancote (cooking bacon and sausage butties and making teas and coffees). If anyone is interested in helping each week on a voluntary or potentially paid basis please speak to your child’s coach or Scott (could be a good volunteering role for someone doing a Duke of Edinburgh award).
Any questions or concerns please contact your coach or Scott at email@example.com or on 01242 609092 or 07714 202533.
Here’s to another successful season.
