U12 home vs Minchinhampton at
Minch Munched Us
The under 12's were well beaten by another Nemesis Boy and his team at Westmancote.
Despite the lovely baps and hot steamy delights of the clubhouse, there was cold comfort on the field of play. Michimghampton were the visitors and dominated the game from the kick off running in try after try against our boys who suffered another demoralising defeat. They were a far more aggressive bunch and our lads were far too nice. We were lucky to come second. Note to parents, please ensure your child behaves badly on Sunday mornings.
With a 6 nations free weekend, no news from Sergei on his latest supply chain, a lack of celebrity reality shows to numb my brain with & Sharon refusing to disclose her latest undergarment purchases, there was a danger that parents in attendance may have to concentrate on the rugby.
I have therefore erased the details of what went on from my memory & filled that gap with happy thoughts of food, wine and fantasy sports events ( eg taking 7 wickets as Australia bowled out for 13 in the boxing Day test, dipping ahead of Usain to win the 200m with a dodgey hamstring, beating Forest Gump at ping pong etc).
I am off to feed the Monkey some raw meat and make him watch Rocky.
At least its not snowing....
